Finally, the beauty universe has landed a Lush in my mall, and I couldn't be more excited. If you don't know what Lush is, it is a bath and body store that sells all sorts of lotions, scrubs, shampoos, conditioners, make-up (a new thing) and so much more. What is great about them is they use natural products they use real fruits and vegetables, and all sorts of oils and good for you products. I definitely recommend checking out the website.
I stopped in yesterday because I couldn't walk by it without doing so, and I bought two things. It was my first time buying anything but I've been inside a Lush before. I bought the Eau Roma Water which is a rose and lavender toner, great for sensitive and/or dry skin! You can just spray it on or use it on a cotton pad and apply to skin. Also, it is great for setting your make-up! It smells heavenly and I already know I'm addicted. I am a sucker for anything rose!
Then as I was checking out I saw a bunch of lip balms and if you know me, I have a problem with not having enough lip products. So I tried the Honey Trap lip balm and again fell in love. It is the most moisturizing thing I've ever used. My lips not only felt smooth but looked smoother after using. You have to try this, they have a ton of other lip balms and tints too!
It is a clear balm and its ingredients sound incredible: sweet orange, peppermint oil, rich honey and white chocolate! There is a bunch more ingredients in there as well, like almond oil, shea butter, olive oil, and oatmeal infusion.
I am all for brands that keep it organic and natural, so this is amazing that I can just go to the store now. Their prices are rather reasonable too, which could get me a little bit of trouble. Haha
Have a great weekend you guys!
And here is a picture to make you laugh:
Charlie's attempt to hide from the vacuum cleaner...climbed on top of my printer and tried to fit in the shelf on my desk!

Sephora Haul 5.4.2012
So I have fallen victim to my obsession once again :) I headed to Sephora with my mom because she wanted to find some things for my cousin's wedding. She really doesn't wear make-up so there was a lot of testing.
I of course ended up buying a bunch of things. I had a specific idea of a few things I needed and then stuff I wanted. While I didn't love how much I spent, it could have been like three times worse!
First I knew I wanted a new cleanser because I am pretty much out of the ones I have at home. I did a lot of studying and reading of the reviews and I decided to try the Bliss Clog Dissolving Cleansing Milk. I put it in my shower already so here's a picture of it from Sephora's website:
Second, I knew I wanted a new foundation, and I also wanted it to be a natural one. Choices get limited when it comes to natural make-up lines it really is either Tarte, Korres, or Josie Maran. The thing is most of it is powder and my skin doesn't love powder foundations. So I picked up Josie Maran's Argan Matchmaker Serum Foundation.

This next product I am totally in love with. It is the Korres Magic Light Face Contouring Powder Trio in Santorini. They have one that is more pink and it called Mykonos, which is pretty too. This is an amazing powder and you can use each color separately like the box tells you or swirl it together. I love it both ways.
Then I had heard about Jack Black's lip balm from a girl on YouTube (LegallyBrunette214) and I really have a weakness for lip balm so I knew it was going to happen. I chose Vanilla Lavender and the smell is heaven!
Next is a Sephora eyeshadow palette. I wanted some nice purple shadows because that color goes amazing with brown eyes and I picked this up:
I adore the 2nd and 3rd colors that are swatched on my hand. They are so pretty paired together and go really well with the purple shades too.
The last product I bought was one I was intent on getting since it came out: The Korres Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial. I've been using their Wild Rose moisturizer and mask for a long time so I knew right away I'd want to try this. I will probably do a review on it, to let you know if I think it works.
Lastly, I had enough points at the checkout for a 500 point perk with my Beauty Insider card. So I got the Too Faced Naked Look palette with 2 eye-shadows, a blush, and two lip glosses. the eye shadows are amazing I'm wearing them right now and they are the perfect neutral colors. I love the darker taupe one. The "blush", it is really a shimmer veil" is nice and it will be a good highlight. Sadly, I hate the lip glosses. One of them when I went to try it (the air kiss one) was soft and sticky and my finger sank right into it. The other one is nice but has no real color to it.
Sorry this post was so long but I hope you enjoyed!

April Birchbox!
My April Birchbox literally just came in the mail! I opened it up and took pictures right away because I was just looking forward to posting about it! This month's Birchbox is all about natural products and I love that. I've really been trying to start using products that have less of the chemicals and are just more healthy and natural.
First item, is the skincare sampler by Befine. I've always wanted to try their stuff and lucky me now I can. They give you 5 huge samples of the products in that box you see above. Like as big as my hand, which is incredible because usually we're stuck with some dinky little packet. There are 3 packets of the Exfoliating Cleanser with brown sugar, sweet almond, and oats. Just the name sounds so yummy and good for you! Then there are two packets of the Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15 and rosemary, pomegranate and rice.
They are both paraben free, have vegetarian proteins and have allergen free fragrance (which is great for my sensitivity to perfumes!)
Next, in the box which was considered a beauty extra was the Yes To Bluberries Brightening Facial Towelettes. I've been using face wipes for a couple of months now on and off between make-up remover. It is a lot more convenient when I stay out at night. Yes To has been another brand I've wanted to try, and while I'm not crazy about blueberries, maybe these will change my mind :)
Again, it is an amazing sample, it is a travel size and gives you 8 wipes. It is paraben-free and contains 99% natural products.
Lastly, in the nice wrapped part of the box, there were three items: Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift, Lavender + Clary Sage Hair Powder by Lulu Organics, and finally a nail polish by Zoya's TRUE Spring Collection.
I think I need to get used to the fragrance by Taylor Swift, it's a little too girlie, if that makes sense. I like more musky and deep scents. However, I think eventually I'll like it. The hair powder seems interesting, I love lavender so hopefully it works out. I do break the hair washing rule, I just cannot go without washing my hair. So we'll see! Finally, the polish looks more blue in the picture but its more of a deep blue/green. It's like teal if it were a pastel teal...with grey in it. It's gorgeous though and I don't have anything like it.
Hope you enjoyed! I'll update when I actually get to try some of it!
